Cricket Icon Yuvraj Singh Signs up as Brand Ambassador for New Holland
Former cricket star partners with agricultural equipment manufacturer to champion 'Asli Hero ki Asli Taaqat' campaign celebrating Indian farmers as the backbone of the nation's agricultural economy.
New Holland, a global manufacturer of tractors and farm equipment, has appointed former cricket player Yuvraj Singh as its brand ambassador. The partnership will focus on the company's 'Asli Hero ki Asli Taaqat' campaign, which recognizes Indian farmers.
The campaign aims to highlight farmers' contributions to the nation's food security and economic development. Singh, known for his cricket achievements and resilience both on and off the field, will represent the brand's message connecting farmers' determination with his own sporting perseverance.
"Farmers are the true heroes of our nation, working to feed the country and drive its progress," said Tarun Khanna, Director Marketing at New Holland India. "Singh's resilience and ability to overcome challenges mirror the determination our farmers show every day in the fields."
Singh, who comes from Punjab, a major agricultural state in India, expressed his connection to farming communities. "I have seen the hard work of our farmers firsthand. Partnering with New Holland feels like a natural fit as we celebrate the real heroes of our nation," Singh said.
The marketing initiative will span television, digital platforms, radio, print, outdoor advertising, events, and dealership engagement activities.
New Holland provides agricultural solutions throughout India, including tractors, combine harvesters, balers, and implements for various farming applications from tillage to harvesting and commercial use.
The company has supported farmers for over 125 years with agricultural technology and services. New Holland has developed equipment utilizing alternative fuel technology and provides connected precision services through its dealer network.
