Craftsman Automation Starts Commercial Operations at New Ludhiana Plant
Craftsman Automation Limited has begun commercial production at its new manufacturing facility in Ludhiana, Punjab, effective June 29, 2026, the company informed stock exchanges in a regulatory filing.
In an exchange filing dated June 29, the Coimbatore-based auto components maker said it has commenced commercial operations at the Ludhiana plant, in continuation of an earlier intimation made on January 28, 2026.
Craftsman Automation is an Indian engineering and manufacturing company headquartered in Coimbatore. The company supplies precision-engineered components and systems to industries including automotive, industrial engineering and power.
A significant part of its business is focused on automotive components, where it manufactures engine, transmission and aluminium products for vehicle manufacturers and suppliers. The company also serves industrial customers through its machining, fabrication, assembly and engineering capabilities.
Craftsman Automation operates multiple manufacturing facilities across India and employs advanced manufacturing technologies and quality-control processes to support domestic and international customers.
