Continental accelerates localisation of connected mobility solutions in India
The company can produce more than 1 million units of connectivity-related products with this manufacturing line.
Continental, a leading technology company, is expanding its research and development (R&D) and manufacturing efforts to meet the increasing demand for connected technologies in the region. These technologies encompass body electronics, 4G/5G technologies, and GPS systems. With a central emphasis on localisation, Continental is collaborating with local original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) to deliver customised solutions. As production volumes experience significant growth, this will also result in a notable increase in the company's exports to various regions, including European, East Asian, and ASEAN markets, as communicated by the company in an official statement.
