Cognizant, Aston Martin Aramco Formula One Team celebrate three-year partnership in Chennai

Cognizant and Aston Martin Aramco Formula One Team marked the success of their three-year partnership at an event held at Cognizant's MEPZ campus in Chennai. Fernando Alonso, a two-time Formula One World Champion and Aston Martin Aramco driver, attended the event along with Cognizant’s leadership team and employees.

The partnership, which began in 2021, has seen Cognizant, a global technology and professional services company, contribute to improving the team's operations through advancements in data, analytics, and machine learning. Cognizant has enhanced Aston Martin's IT infrastructure and introduced innovations aimed at optimizing both on- and off-track performance. In addition to racing, Cognizant has helped create interactive experiences for Formula One fans, expanding engagement with the sport.

The Chennai event was part of "Celebrating Cognizant," a series of activities organized for Cognizant employees to recognize shared achievements. Fernando Alonso engaged with attendees, discussing the role of technology in Formula One and the challenges of competing at an elite level. The event also allowed fans to interact with the driver and learn more about the sport’s technological aspects and Cognizant’s role in supporting the racing team.

Fernando Alonso expressed his appreciation for the partnership, highlighting the contributions of Cognizant to the team's performance over the past three years. Lawrence Stroll, Executive Chairman of Aston Martin Aramco Formula One Team, emphasized the importance of technology and teamwork in the partnership's success. Cognizant’s CEO, Ravi Kumar S, reiterated the company's commitment to driving innovation and shaping the future of the team through continued collaboration.
