Castrol India Launches New Campaign for Full Synthetic Motorcycle Oil

Castrol India has launched a new marketing campaign, titled ‘Bike Smooth, Toh Life Smooth’, to promote its recently introduced Castrol Activ Full Synthetic motorcycle engine oil range.

The campaign is based on the observation that two-wheeler riders are increasingly prioritising smooth and dependable performance in their daily commutes. According to the company, rider expectations have evolved as commuting conditions become more demanding, making reliability and riding comfort key considerations.

Castrol India said the campaign seeks to connect the quality of a ride with broader day-to-day experiences, positioning smoother performance as an important factor for commuter riders.

Earlier this year, the company expanded its Castrol Activ portfolio with the launch of Castrol Activ Full Synthetic 5W-30 and 10W-30 engine oils. The products are designed to provide enhanced protection for the engine, clutch and gearbox while supporting smoother riding performance.

The campaign was conceptualised by Ogilvy India and adopts a storytelling-led approach in a category traditionally focused on technical product features. The creative strategy aims to communicate functional benefits through relatable situations and humour.

The campaign will be rolled out across connected television, digital platforms, e-commerce channels and retail touchpoints. Castrol India will also leverage its dealer and workshop network across the country to support the campaign, with a particular focus on first-time users and younger commuter riders.

Castrol India, part of the bp group, has operated in India for more than 115 years and manufactures a range of automotive and industrial lubricants. The company serves multiple sectors through its nationwide distribution network and production facilities.
