CABI by SKIL launches Pink Module for Women-Driven cabs focused on safety
The Pink Module, a pilot project in Bengaluru, introduces women drivers trained in self-defense to ensure safer commutes for women passengers. This initiative will soon expand to metropolitan and Tier-II, Tier-III cities across India.
CABI by SKIL, a leading cab service platform under the SKIL Group, has launched the Pink Module as a pilot project in Bengaluru. This initiative aims to provide women passengers with a safer and more comfortable commuting experience by introducing women drivers who are specially trained in service and self-defense. After the pilot in Bengaluru, the service will be extended to other metropolitan areas and Tier-II, Tier-III cities.
For over two decades, CABI has been known for offering seamless, quality cab-hailing services, particularly to corporate and executive travelers. The Pink Module is part of the company's ongoing efforts to enhance safety and customer satisfaction, focusing on offering women passengers a secure environment for solo travel.
Vikash Kejriwal, COO of SKIL Travel, emphasized the importance of women's safety, especially when traveling alone or during late hours. He explained that the Pink Module was created to address this need, providing women drivers trained in self-defense to foster a safer and more inclusive cab-hailing environment.
CABI operates in over 250 cities across India, providing a range of features designed to improve user experience. These include an online and self-booking tool, concierge-like services, and a WhatsApp bot that enables real-time bookings. These features contribute to a streamlined and efficient service, enhancing convenience for its passengers.
