As part of its corporate strategy to expand beyond conventional tyre manufacturing into a broader sustainable mobility solutions provider, Bridgestone India has announced the recipients of its sixth Mobility Social Impact Awards (MSIA) 2026, granting Rs 40 lakh in prize money to organisations working across community transit access and road safety.
The initiative aligns with the parent company's global "Bridgestone E8 Commitment," which guides its long-term transition from pure rubber manufacturing toward providing wider social and mobility services by 2050.
Commenting on the initiative, Rajarshi Moitra, Managing Director, Bridgestone India, said:
"Serving Society with Superior Quality is at the heart of Bridgestone’s purpose, and the Mobility Social Impact Awards are dedicated towards honouring those who are using mobility to foster meaningful and lasting social impact. We are proud to recognize them and their endeavours towards making roads safer, empower communities and drive positive social change across India."
