BorgWarner Showcases LFP Battery and eDrive Systems at IAA Transportation 2026

BorgWarner is expanding its commercial vehicle propulsion portfolio across battery-electric and combustion powertrains, making the European trade show debut of its next-generation Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) Compact Pack at the IAA Transportation 2026 in Hanover, Germany.

BorgWarner says that the newly engineered LFP battery architecture features more optimized packaging, a reduction in weight, and a smaller overall footprint designed to lower production costs. The introduction comes as commercial fleet operators and vehicle manufacturers face dual pressures to meet stringent emissions mandates while maintaining total cost of ownership and payload capacity.
