For 2025, BMW has updated the C 400 GT and C 400 X maxi-scooters with a little more storage and additional electronic rider aids. Both the German maxi-scooters also get new colours but remain mechanically unchanged.

The big news is the addition of electronic safety aids, such as traction control and motor slip regulation. These work in tandem to reduce wheel slip when the surface is less than ideal, or you’re riding in unfavourable weather, or both. Moreover, the C 400 duo also have IMU assistance, which brings in cornering functionality for the ABS and TC.

Practicality has also seen a boost on both with the C 400 X seeing a small 3 litre increase in the underseat storage. For the C 400 GT, BMW has given it 12 litres more storage capacity in the front cubbies.

The powertrain remains the same with a liquid-cooled, 334cc, single-cylinder engine making 34 hp at 7,500 rpm and 35 Nm of torque at 5,750 rpm.

BMW retails the C 400 GT in India at a steep Rs 11.25 lakh (ex-showroom, India), although its more rugged looking sibling isn’t sold here. The updated C 400 GT will likely be launched here sometime in 2025 and a bump in price is expected.
