BMW Group India has initiated its annual Monsoon Service Campaign across its nationwide network of authorized retail and service outlets, the company announced on Tuesday. The seasonal program has been timed to coincide with the arrival of high-rainfall weather patterns across the country, focusing on preventive diagnostics and component maintenance to manage driving conditions associated with wet road surfaces.
Hardeep Singh Brar, President and CEO of BMW Group India, stated that the proactive care initiative relies on the deployment of certified workshop technicians and specialized corporate diagnostic infrastructure to optimize vehicle reliability during changing seasonal cycles. Under the structure of the campaign, workshops are offering customers a complimentary vehicle health assessment. This assessment covers standard safety and mechanical items, including windscreen wiper systems, washer fluid levels, rain sensors, headlight alignment, micro-filter conditions, horn operations, and the physical structural state of the vehicle's weather strips and sunroof drainage pipes.
The inspection criteria also involve technical checks directed at the electrical layout, such as the engine control unit box cleaning, electrical plug connections within the engine compartment, and underbody components. For the manufacturer's battery electric vehicle (BEV) and plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) variants, the specialized inspection routine expands to analyze high-voltage charging cables, charging sockets, and specific underbody protective shielding for structural damage or corrosion. Standard rolling stock evaluations covering tire tread depth, structural sidewall wear, and full brake pad or fluid degradation are also included in the session.
The vehicle health reviews are conducted at local authorized workshops via pre-scheduled customer service appointments. According to the manufacturer, ownership vehicles that are older than five years will also qualify for specific commercial tier discounts on required maintenance work under the company's ongoing generic loyalty framework.
