BLive Launches ₹100-Crore Push to Deploy 1,000 E-Mini-Trucks
Commercial fleet program also opens franchise opportunities to meet rising e-commerce demand in major tier-1 hubs.
Electric mobility platform BLive has announced the launch of BLive PRIME, a four-wheeler franchise model, backed by a ₹100 crore investment, aimed at deploying 1,000 electric mini-trucks across India over the next two years.
The company said the move responds to rising demand for last-mile logistics capacity, citing 15-20% CAGR growth in the sector driven by e-commerce and quick commerce. The rollout will begin in Bengaluru before extending to Delhi, Chennai and Hyderabad in the coming months.
Under the BLive PRIME model, investors can enter with a minimum investment of ₹50 lakh under a franchisee-owned, company-operated structure. Investors own the electric mini-truck fleets, while BLive manages operations including deployment, utilisation and maintenance. The company said its fleet relies on vehicles such as the Tata Ace EV, which is widely used in last-mile delivery operations.
BLive said it already supports electric mini-truck deployments for logistics and delivery platforms including Hyperpure, Porter and Delhivery.
Sandeep Mukherjee, Co-Founder and CEO of BLive, said the next phase of India's EV transition will be driven by commercial use cases such as last-mile logistics, where demand is predictable and utilisation is high. He said BLive PRIME is designed to connect investor capital with this demand, allowing investors to own EV assets while BLive handles deployment and operations.
According to the company, the model is intended to support scalable EV fleet expansion through investor participation, enable electrification of high-frequency delivery operations, and create asset-backed opportunities linked to demand in the EV ecosystem.
BLive describes itself as an electric mobility platform focused on EV adoption through fleet solutions, franchise models, charging infrastructure and technology-driven operations, with a significant presence in India's last-mile delivery sector.
