BikeWo Signs MoU With Hala Mobility For 1,000 EV Fleet

BikeWo Green Tech Limited has signed a non-binding memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Hala Mobility to explore the deployment and management of electric vehicle (EV) fleets. The proposed Phase I deployment covers approximately 1,000 electric vehicles, with a strategic intent to scale this to around 10,000 vehicles over the next three years.

The initial deployment is intended to establish a scalable EV fleet operating model. The companies will evaluate further expansion based on operational performance, commercial viability and market requirements.

Under the first phase, BikeWo and Hala Mobility will work towards establishing frameworks for EV deployment, fleet utilisation, vehicle management and related operational requirements. The companies said insights from the initial deployment will help determine the scope and pace of subsequent expansion.

BikeWo, Hala Mobility Envision 10,000 EVs Over Three Years

The companies envisage scaling the deployment to approximately 10,000 electric vehicles over three years, subject to the outcome of the initial phase and mutually agreed commercial and operational arrangements. They may also assess expansion into new geographies, vehicle segments and customer categories as the partnership develops.

Beyond fleet deployment, BikeWo and Hala Mobility intend to explore opportunities across vehicle leasing, fleet management, charging infrastructure, energy solutions, technology platforms, maintenance and servicing, enterprise mobility and logistics applications.

The collaboration forms part of BikeWo’s broader strategy to develop an integrated mobility and logistics platform covering EV deployment, fleet operations, vehicle leasing, servicing and maintenance, energy infrastructure, logistics and technology-enabled mobility solutions.

The MoU is non-binding, and the proposed vehicle deployments are indicative business objectives. Any specific deployment, commercial commitment or scale-up will be subject to mutually agreed definitive agreements, applicable approvals and other customary conditions.
