Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 begins in New Delhi, spotlighting automotive innovation

India's largest Auto Components Show brings 1,000+ exhibitors, product launches, and global delegations together, highlighting advancements in EVs, autonomous technologies, and sustainability while fostering collaboration across the automotive and mobility sectors.

Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 begins in New Delhi, spotlighting automotive innovation

The Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, featuring India’s largest-ever Auto Components Show, was inaugurated today at the Yashobhoomi Convention and Expo Centre in Dwarka, New Delhi. The event, a significant milestone in the automotive industry, aims to highlight India’s advancements in mobility innovation, electrification, autonomous technologies, and sustainability.  

Union Minister of Commerce & Industry Shri Piyush Goyal and Union Minister of State for Commerce & Industry and Electronics & Information Technology Shri Jitin Prasada inaugurated the event, along with key industry leaders. Scheduled to run from January 18 to 21, 2025, the expo is set to draw global attention to India’s automotive capabilities.  

During the inauguration, Shri Goyal launched the Show Directory, the ACMA Buyers Guide, and the ACMA Report titled Transitioning to EVs – Opportunities & Impediments. Speaking at the event, he highlighted the auto component sector’s potential to achieve $100 billion in exports within the next decade. “India’s automotive industry is transitioning toward indigenous innovation, reduced import dependence, and sustainable growth, playing a pivotal role in shaping the vision of a developed India by 2047,” he said.  

The Auto Components Show spans 70,000 square meters, hosting over 1,000 exhibitors from seven countries, including five dedicated country pavilions. The event will showcase 60 product launches, thematic zones for EVs, bearings, and accessories, and live demonstrations of advanced technologies. More than 50,000 visitors are expected to attend, making it a key platform for innovation and collaboration.  

Shri Jitin Prasada highlighted the transformation of the auto component industry with the rise of electric vehicles and the role of advanced technologies like AI in driving progress. He emphasised the need to shift from traditional supply chains to advanced electro-mechanical models to maintain the industry’s growth momentum.

ACMA President Shradha Suri Marwah stated that the expo underscores India’s emergence as a global leader in the automotive sector. She stressed the importance of fostering collaboration and adopting global best practices to create a future-ready and resilient automotive ecosystem.  

ACMA Director General Vinnie Mehta noted that the event showcases India’s leadership in sustainable and advanced mobility while opening opportunities for manufacturers to access global markets.  

The expo also features a distinctive visual theme highlighting sustainability and collaboration. The Gear motif represents innovation in the components sector, the Leaf symbolizes green mobility, and the Flower reflects the growth of startups. Together, these elements emphasize the importance of collective efforts in driving the future of mobility.  

The Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 includes nine concurrent shows covering various aspects of the mobility ecosystem. Events will take place at three locations: Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi, Yashobhoomi in Dwarka, and the India Expo Centre & Mart in Greater Noida.  

With its focus on innovation and sustainability, the expo aims to strengthen India’s position as a global hub for automotive manufacturing and advanced mobility solutions.
