Bentley Unveils High-Performance Continental GT S and GTC S Models
The new Continental GT S and GTC S combine a 680 PS hybrid powertrain with advanced chassis technology, delivering 0-60mph in 3.3 seconds while offering up to 50 miles of pure electric range.
Bentley Motors has launched the Continental GT S and GTC S, expanding its grand tourer lineup with models that emphasize sporting performance and dynamic capability.
The fourth-generation S models represent the most powerful variants to carry the S badge in Bentley's history. At the heart of these vehicles is a High Performance Hybrid powertrain producing 680 PS and 930 Nm of torque – representing increases of 130 PS and 160 Nm over the previous generation S models.
Performance figures are substantial. The vehicles accelerate from 0-60mph in 3.3 seconds and reach a top speed of 190mph. The hybrid system also enables up to 50 miles of electric-only driving, combining performance with efficiency in a manner that surpasses the previous generation's W12 Speed powertrain across all metrics.
The S models incorporate the Bentley Performance Active Chassis, previously available only on GT Speed and GT Mulliner variants. This system includes Active All-Wheel Drive, twin valve dampers, torque vectoring, the 48V Bentley Dynamic Ride active anti-roll system, an electronic limited slip differential, and all-wheel steering – the latter being a first for Continental GT S models.
The chassis configuration offers multiple driving modes. With the Electronic Stability Control fully engaged, the system prevents oversteer. Dynamic Mode permits controlled rear axle slip, while the ESC can be deactivated entirely for experienced drivers seeking maximum engagement.
Visual differentiation comes through the Blackline Specification, which adds gloss black matrix grilles, black Bentley wings and lettering, along with Beluga black mirror caps, sill extensions, and rear diffuser. The models feature dark-tint LED matrix headlamps with Precision design details and come standard with 22-inch ten swept-spoke alloy wheels.
Interior appointments include a two-colour upholstery split unique to the S models, Dinamica technical fabric on contact points, and Piano Black veneer as standard. Optional configurations include high-gloss carbon fiber finishes and full leather upholstery.
The Continental GT S and GTC S join Bentley's existing range, which spans from the wellness-focused Azure to the performance-oriented GT Speed, providing customers with increased choice within the Continental lineup.
