Bansal Wire Reports Steady Growth in Fourth Quarter
The steel wire manufacturer posted a 21 percent rise in net profit and increase in operating revenue for the quarter ending March 2026.
Bansal Wire Industries Limited has announced its financial results for the quarter and full year ended March 31, 2026, revealing a significant increase in both top and bottom-line figures. The company reported a net profit of 40 crore rupees for the fourth quarter, representing a 21 percent increase. This growth was supported by a 20.9 percent year on year rise in quarterly revenue, which climbed to 1,136.36 crore from 940.2 crore rupees.
Operational performance for the quarter showed EBITDA reaching 80.44 crore, an 11.1 percent improvement over the ₹72.30 crore posted in the previous year's final quarter. However, the EBITDA margin for the period contracted by 62 basis points, moving from 7.7 percent to 7.1 percent. The PAT margin remained stable at 3.5 percent. The company noted that these results were achieved despite global supply chain disruptions and geopolitical challenges that affected operations toward the end of the fiscal year.
For the full financial year 2026, Bansal Wire Industries consolidated its market position with total revenue reaching 4,159.79 crore, an 18.6 percent increase from the 3,507.17 crore reported in fiscal year 2025. Annual EBITDA grew by 17.3 percent, while net profit for the year stood at 160.94 crore, a 10.0 percent rise from the 146.37 crore recorded in the prior year. The annual EBITDA margin saw a minor decrease of 9 basis points to 7.8 percent, and the annual PAT margin was 3.9 percent compared to 4.2 percent in the previous year.
In terms of operational volume, the manufacturer delivered sales of 458,055 metric tonnes during the fiscal year, marking a 33 percent year on year growth in volume. Management highlighted that the period was defined by an acceleration in diversification toward high-value products. Additionally, the company reported an improvement in cash flow generation, ending the year with 333 crore rupees in operating free cash flow.
