Bajaj Auto Ltd. has announced a broad set of upgrades to its Chetak electric scooter portfolio, introducing higher top speeds, integrated Google Maps navigation, over-the-air software updates, and previously optional features now bundled as standard. The company has also rebranded the lineup under a new 'C Series' nomenclature, organising models into the C 35, C 30, and C 25 series.

The flagship C 35 01 receives the most extensive changes, including Google Maps navigation integrated directly into the Chetak app. Top speeds have been raised across all variants — the C 35 01 and C 35 02 now reach 80 km/h, up from 73 km/h; the C 35 03 and C 30 01 move from 63 km/h to 70 km/h; and the C 25 01 rises from 55 km/h to 60 km/h. Motor output on the flagship model has been increased from 4.5 kW to 4.8 kW. Charging time for the C 30 01 has also been cut significantly, from 3 hours and 50 minutes to 2 hours and 55 minutes for a 0–80 percent charge.

Ride Modes (Sports and Eco) and Hill Hold Assist, previously available as paid add-ons, are now included as standard features on the C 35 and C 30 series. The C 35 01 and C 35 02 will also support over-the-air updates, allowing software improvements and new features to be delivered remotely without a service centre visit.

Customers across all models can opt for a TecPac, priced from Rs. 3,000, to unlock additional features including music control, guide-me-home lights, accident detection, geo-fencing, and vehicle anti-theft functions. Google Maps turn-by-turn navigation via TecPac is available on the C 35 01, while the C 35 02 receives turn-by-turn navigation without the full Google Maps integration.
