Bajaj Auto Limited announced its sales figures for September 2025, showing overall growth across key segments despite mixed domestic performance.

The company sold a total of 5,10,504 vehicles in September 2025, marking a 9% increase compared to 4,69,531 units in the same month last year. This growth was driven primarily by strong export performance and commercial vehicle sales.

In the two-wheeler segment, Bajaj Auto recorded total sales of 4,30,853 units, up 8% from 4,00,489 units in September 2024. Domestic two-wheeler sales reached 2,73,188 units, showing a modest 5% year-on-year increase. Export performance was notably stronger, with 1,57,665 units shipped overseas, representing a 12% growth over the previous year.

The commercial vehicles division showed significant momentum, particularly in international markets. Total commercial vehicle sales stood at 79,651 units, a 15% increase from 69,042 units last year. While domestic commercial vehicle sales remained relatively flat at 52,064 units (down 1%), exports surged 67% to reach 27,587 units.

Overall, domestic sales across both categories totaled 3,25,252 units (up 4%), while exports reached 1,85,252 units, marking an 18% increase year-on-year.

Six-Month Performance (April-September 2025)

For the first half of the fiscal year, Bajaj Auto's total sales reached 24,05,357 units, up 4% from 23,23,560 units in the corresponding period last year.

The year-to-date figures reveal a contrasting trend between domestic and export markets. Domestic two-wheeler sales declined 8% to 11,25,920 units, while exports grew strongly by 17% to 8,91,858 units. The commercial vehicles segment showed resilience with domestic sales up 1% at 2,49,681 units and exports surging 51% to 1,37,898 units.

Overall, domestic sales for the six-month period stood at 13,75,601 units (down 6%), while exports climbed 20% to 10,29,756 units.

The sales data was released by Rakesh Sharma, Executive Director of Bajaj Auto Limited.
