Bajaj Auto Elevates Kailash Zanzari to COO, Appoints P&G’s Madhusudan Gopalan as CPO

Bajaj Auto announced key senior management changes on Tuesday, elevating Chief Product Officer Kailash Zanzari to the role of Chief Operating Officer with immediate effect. Zanzari, who was appointed as Chief Product Officer in May 2025, transitions to lead operations as Chief Operating Officer while continuing as part of the senior management team.

Following Zanzari's internal movement, Bajaj Auto appointed Madhusudan Gopalan as its new Chief Product Officer. Gopalan joins the company from Procter & Gamble, where he currently serves as Senior Vice President for Grooming & Oral Care across Asia Pacific focus markets, having previously served as Senior Vice President and Country Head for India and South Asia.

The board of directors also approved the appointment of Pallavi Joshi Bakhru as a Non-Executive Independent Director for a five-year term from January 1, 2027 to December 31, 2031, subject to shareholder approval.
