AUTO i CARE expands roadside Assistance to EV Two-Wheelers across India
AUTO i CARE has extended its after-sales and roadside assistance services to cover electric two-wheelers from all manufacturers. With a network of 58,000 garages across 1,100 cities, the company aims to improve service availability and reliability for EV owners, addressing a key concern in India's growing electric mobility market
AUTO i CARE, a roadside assistance provider in India, has announced the expansion of its services to include electric vehicle (EV) two-wheelers from all manufacturers. This move aims to address the increasing need for reliable after-sales support in the growing EV market.
Founded in 2015, AUTO i CARE operates a garage chain aggregator app that connects users with a network of over 58,000 garages across 1,100 cities in India. The company has focused on organizing the roadside assistance market to provide more structured and consistent services for vehicle owners nationwide.
As electric mobility gains traction in India, a key challenge has been the limited availability of after-sales support, which has led to hesitancy among potential EV buyers. In response, AUTO i CARE is now extending its services, previously available to its subsidiary KICK-EV, to all EV two-wheeler brands. This expansion is intended to support the development of the EV market by ensuring that after-sales services are accessible for all EV owners, regardless of the brand.
The services will include 24/7 roadside assistance, battery management, tire repairs, regular maintenance, and emergency repairs, tailored to meet the needs of electric two-wheelers. These services will be available across various cities and towns to provide EV owners with reliable support.
Sagar Joshi, CEO of AUTO i CARE, highlighted the importance of this expansion, stating, "After-sales service remains a concern for many potential EV buyers. By extending our services to all EV brands, we aim to support the growing EV industry and offer reliable assistance to EV two-wheeler owners."
AUTO i CARE's app allows users to choose from company service centers, authorized service centers, multi-brand service centers, and local garages. This latest service expansion is part of the company’s efforts to provide comprehensive support for India’s transition to electric mobility.
