Ashok Leyland Raises Rs 300 Crore via NCD Issue

Ashok Leyland has completed the allotment of unsecured, rated non-convertible debentures to raise Rs 300 crore through a private placement.

The Fund Raising Committee of the company's Board of Directors approved the allotment of 30,000 non-convertible debentures on August 10, 2026, each carrying a face value of Rs 1,00,000. Rated "AA+" with a stable outlook by ICRA, the debt instruments offer a fixed coupon rate of 7.50% per annum, with annual interest payouts scheduled for August 10, 2027, and August 10, 2028.

The debentures feature a two-year tenure maturing on August 10, 2028, structured with a single bullet repayment of the principal amount at the end of the term. The debt securities will be listed on the Wholesale Debt Market segment of the National Stock Exchange of India Limited.
