Ashok Leyland Opens 12th LCV Dealership In Karnataka At Raichur
Ashok Leyland opens its 12th LCV dealership in Karnataka at Raichur, adding a 3S facility with seven service bays to its network.
Ashok Leyland has opened a new Light Commercial Vehicle (LCV) dealership in Raichur, Karnataka, taking its total LCV dealerships in the state to 12. The company said its LCV distribution network now covers more than 945 customer touchpoints across India.
The dealership is operated by new channel partner SB Motors LLP and is located at Mukram Gunj in Raichur. The facility follows a 3S (Sales, Service and Spares) format and has seven service bays along with equipment and service infrastructure.
The dealership will support Ashok Leyland's LCV range comprising the Saathi, Dost, Bada Dost, Partner and MiTR.
Ashok Leyland LCV Dealership Network In Karnataka
According to Ashok Leyland, Karnataka is an important market for its LCV business, with the Raichur outlet adding to its existing dealership network in the state. The company said the new facility is intended to expand sales, service and spares access for LCV customers in the region.
Ashok Leyland said more than 600,000 of its LCVs are currently operating across India. Its LCV portfolio includes products spanning the entry-level small commercial vehicle, load carrier and bus segments.
Ashok Leyland LCV Range
The Saathi is positioned in the premium entry-level SCV segment and uses a 45hp engine producing 110Nm of torque. It has a stated payload capacity of 1,120kg.
The Bada Dost is available in six variants and uses an 80hp BS6 engine. The company offers the Dost range in Dost XL and Dost+ XL versions.
The Partner caters to the 4-tonne payload segment and is available in four- and six-tyre configurations. It uses a ZD30 CRDI engine. The MiTR bus is offered in staff and school bus versions.
The Bada Dost, Dost, Saathi, Partner and MiTR are manufactured at Ashok Leyland's Hosur plant.
