Apollo Tyres Ltd has introduced the Aspire 5, its latest Ultra-High Performance (UHP) tyre, developed and manufactured in India. Designed for the luxury vehicle segment, the Aspire 5 will be sold in both domestic and international markets, including Europe and other parts of Asia.

With a rise in demand for UHP tyres—particularly those with 17 inches and above rim sizes and W/Y speed ratings—the Indian tyre market is evolving to meet the needs of premium car buyers seeking quieter and more comfortable rides. The Aspire 5 is available in sizes ranging from 17 to 20 inches to fit a wide range of luxury cars and SUVs, including electric models.

The tyre has undergone testing in multiple regions such as Europe, India, Japan, and Korea and is tailored to Indian driving conditions. Rajesh Dahiya, Vice President – Commercial (India, SAARC, and Southeast Asia) at Apollo Tyres, noted that changing consumer expectations, particularly in the EV and luxury crossover segments, have influenced product development.

Co-developed with leading OEMs, the Aspire 5 incorporates input from industry partners and real-world consumer feedback. It is built to offer a balance of handling, comfort, and reduced noise levels across different driving conditions.

Manufactured at Apollo Tyres’ facility in Andhra Pradesh, the Aspire 5 includes features like Dynamic Contour Technology for physical and acoustic comfort and a Tri-Flex Compound for grip and stability at high speeds. The tyre will be available at Apollo’s branded retail outlets across India from July 2025.
