Apollo Tyres has announced the resignation of Gaurav Kumar as its Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Key Managerial Personnel (KMP), effective at the close of business on October 6, 2026. The company disclosed the change in a regulatory filing dated October 6.
According to the filing, Kumar is stepping down to pursue new personal and professional challenges outside the organisation. He has also confirmed that there is no other material reason for his resignation.
The resignation follows Kumar’s earlier letter dated August 6, 2026, with his exit taking effect at the close of business on October 6, 2026.

Kumar’s resignation letter, dated October 6, reiterates that he is leaving the CFO position to pursue new personal and professional opportunities outside Apollo Tyres. He also stated that there was no other material reason for his decision.
Apollo Tyres has not yet announced a successor to Kumar or a new appointment to the CFO position.
