Apollo Tyres has appointed Ravi Kumar Shingari as its Chief Financial Officer (CFO). The appointment fills the executive vacancy left by former CFO Gaurav Kumar, who stepped down in October 2026.
The company’s board of directors approved the leadership transition while announcing its second-quarter financial results, bringing Shingari into the C-suite as a Key Managerial Personnel (KMP) reporting directly to Vice Chairman & Managing Director Neeraj Kanwar.
Shingari joined Apollo Tyres in 2018 as Group Head of Finance, with responsibilities overseeing budgeting, accounting, investor relations, and legal affairs. Prior to his role at the tyre maker, he spent over 16 years as a Partner in Tax and Regulatory at KPMG.
Concurrently, the board updated its panel of Key Managerial Personnel authorized under Regulation 30(5) of the SEBI Listing Regulations, Shingari being added alongside Whole-time Director Rajeev Kumar Sinha and Company Secretary & Compliance Officer Seema Thapar.
