Altigreen has launched the Minsara, an electric multi-utility two-wheeler aimed at urban and rural applications, marking the company's entry into India's electric two-wheeler market. The vehicle is targeted at small businesses, delivery operators, farmers and other users requiring a two-wheeler for both transportation and utility applications.
Part of the JAKSON Group, Altigreen has priced the Minsara from ₹1.24 lakh (ex-showroom). The electric two-wheeler will be available in three variants: Minsara S, Minsara S+ and Minsara SE. The company has opened bookings in Bengaluru, Vijayawada and Noida, with customer deliveries scheduled to begin on December 1, 2026.
The Minsara S is equipped with a 2.78 kWh battery pack and has a claimed range of 125 km, while the Minsara S+ gets a larger 3.8 kWh battery pack with a claimed range of 165 km. The Minsara SE features a battery-swapping configuration. Altigreen has not disclosed the battery capacity or range for the SE variant.
The electric two-wheeler produces 172 Nm of peak torque and has a claimed gradeability of 33%. It has a top speed of 75 kmph and a Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) of 264 kg, positioning it for applications involving additional loads.
In terms of hardware, the Minsara features 17-inch alloy wheels, telescopic suspension and a rib-caged chassis. Safety equipment includes a crash guard, dual disc brakes with a Combined Braking System (CBS), and a side stand with a safety alert. The vehicle also gets a main stand.
The Minsara comes with a standard warranty of three years or 30,000 km, whichever comes first. Altigreen said extended warranty options are also planned.
Deepak Thakur, CEO, JAKSON Green Vehicles, said the Minsara has been developed to address the requirements of users who depend on two-wheelers for business operations and daily transportation. He added that the launch forms part of the group's plans to expand its presence in electric mobility.
Amitabh Saran, CTO and founder, Altigreen, said the company intends to extend its electric vehicle portfolio beyond cargo three-wheelers with the introduction of the Minsara. He added that the product would be supported by Altigreen's 3S dealership network and after-sales service infrastructure.
The launch expands Altigreen's portfolio beyond its existing neEV electric cargo three-wheeler range into the multi-utility electric two-wheeler segment. The company has also indicated plans to enter the passenger three-wheeler segment.
