Aimtron Electronics to Produce 50,000 IIoT and AI Devices for Vanix Technologies

Aimtron Electronics Limited has announced the commencement of production for 50,000 Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) devices following an order from Vanix Technologies. The order stems from a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed in December 2024, under which Aimtron is expected to manufacture between 250,000 and 2 million IoT devices over the next five years.

The initiative aims to support India’s push for electronics self-reliance and advance smart manufacturing capabilities. The first production batch is scheduled to begin in October 2025, with delivery expected by the end of the year. The scaled production is also anticipated to generate new employment opportunities as operations expand.

Aimtron, an Electronics System Design and Manufacturing (ESDM) company, has been growing its presence in both domestic and international markets, offering end-to-end solutions from circuit design to full system assembly.

Mukesh Vasani, Founder & Chairman of Aimtron Electronics Ltd., noted that the collaboration aligns with national initiatives such as ‘Make in India’ and ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’. Dr. Ashwani Rana, CEO of Vanix Technologies, emphasized the partnership’s role in meeting evolving technological demands and strengthening India’s digital infrastructure.

The Indian IIoT market is projected to reach $7.12 billion in 2025 and grow at a compound annual growth rate of 21.18% through 2029, reaching $15.35 billion. The collaboration positions both companies to contribute to this expanding sector.
