Adroit Auto partners with top PSU insurers to enhance vehicle claims settlement

Adroit Auto Inspection Services, a subsidiary of Shriram Automall, will collaborate with four of India’s leading Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) insurance companies, The New India Assurance Co. Ltd., United India Insurance Co. Ltd., National Insurance Co. Ltd., and The Oriental Insurance Co. Ltd. This partnership seeks to modernize and streamline the vehicle claims process, emphasizing speed, transparency, and customer-centric solutions.

Adroit Auto, an MSME-certified company, leverages advanced technology, including Artificial Intelligence-powered Loss Assessment Services (LAA/DSP), to quicken claims settlement. This initiative specifically targets motor accident claims under Rs 50,000, promising faster resolution, reduced costs, and precise damage assessments through automated and optimized processes. By integrating cutting-edge AI tools, the initiative aims to eliminate delays, enhance trust, and foster fairness through unbiased evaluations.

The collaboration is expected to benefit all stakeholders—insured individuals, repairers, and insurers. For customers, continuous updates on repair progress will improve transparency and trust. Repairers will receive accurate and precise damage assessments to ensure swift repair approvals, while insurers will benefit from reduced claim ratios, enhanced fraud detection, and improved profitability through minimized administrative costs.

Adroit Auto’s leadership believes this partnership has the potential to reshape India’s motor claims industry. Sameer Malhotra, Director & CEO of SAMIL, stated, “Our new, dynamic, and energetic leadership team at Adroit Auto is fully committed to making this collaboration a resounding success, leaving no stone unturned in driving a transformative shift in the claims industry. This collaboration with Adroit Auto marks a key step in modernizing claims processes with technology and customer focus. We are looking into a yearly market opportunity of over 15 million claims under this category.”

Nitesh Chinoy, CEO of Adroit Auto, added, “We are thrilled to collaborate with leading PSUs through ClaimXpert to revolutionize the claims industry with transparency, efficiency, and technology-driven excellence.”

Adroit Auto, established in 2005, has been a popular name in vehicle inspection, valuation, verification, and claims services. With a strong presence across over 100,000 locations in 650 districts nationwide, the company has primarily served banks, NBFCs, and insurance companies in the vehicle financing and motor insurance sectors. Its diagnostic tools and detailed reporting empower clients to make informed decisions about vehicle condition and repair.

PSU insurers, known for their vast customer base, have been actively seeking ways to enhance service delivery and efficiency. By integrating Adroit Auto’s expertise, they aim to create a robust claims ecosystem that prioritizes customer satisfaction and operational excellence.
