Škoda Auto India announced prices and the commencement of customer deliveries for the updated Kushaq SUV on Saturday, with the 1.0 TSI range starting at ₹10,69,000 (ex-showroom) and the performance-oriented 1.5 TSI DSG available from ₹18,79,000.

The refreshed model is offered across five trims — Classic+, Signature, Sportline, Prestige, and Monte Carlo — and retains its exclusively turbocharged petrol engine lineup. A notable addition to the range is an eight-speed torque converter automatic transmission, which the company describes as a segment-first offering, available from the base Classic+ variant alongside the existing six-speed manual.

The 1.0 TSI engine produces 85 kW of power and 178 Nm of torque, with ARAI-rated fuel efficiency of 19.66 km/l for the manual and 19.09 km/l for the automatic. The 1.5 TSI, paired exclusively with a seven-speed DSG, delivers 110 kW and 250 Nm of torque, with an ARAI-rated efficiency of 18.72 km/l. The 1.5 TSI features Active Cylinder Technology, which deactivates two cylinders during cruising to manage fuel consumption.

The updated Kushaq carries its existing Global NCAP 5-star safety rating and now includes more than 40 safety features as standard, with additions such as rain-sensing wipers, a rear wiper and defogger, and auto-dimming interior rear-view mirrors across the range. The entry-level Classic+ trim ships with six airbags, LED headlamps and taillamps, an electric sunroof, Climatronic auto air conditioning, and a 17.7 cm touchscreen infotainment system.

Higher trims introduce features such as a rear seat massager — described by the company as a segment-first — a panoramic sunroof, a 26.03 cm digital cockpit display, ventilated front seats, and all-wheel disc brakes on 1.5 TSI Prestige and Monte Carlo variants. The Monte Carlo trim adds motorsport-inspired styling elements including red brake callipers and blacked-out exterior detailing.

All variants come bundled with Škoda Super Care, which includes a four-year or 100,000-kilometre warranty, four years of roadside assistance, four labour-free services within the first two years or 30,000 kilometres, a six-year corrosion warranty, and a three-year paint warranty. The warranty can be extended on a paid basis up to eight years.

Eight exterior colour options are available, including three new additions — Shimla Green, Steel Grey, and Cherry Red — alongside existing shades such as Candy White, Carbon Steel, Brilliant Silver, Lava Blue, and Deep Black.

Škoda Auto India recorded 72,665 car sales in 2025, representing 107% year-on-year growth, and currently operates across 325 customer touchpoints in 184 cities.
