Zypp Electric to deploy 1,000 Etrio’s Touro electric three-wheeler for last-mile delivery
The partners aim to deploy 1,000 Touro, electric three-wheelers for last-mile delivery operations.
Hyderabad-headquartered Etrio, an electric vehicle start-up company has partnered Zypp Electric, a leading 2-wheeler logistics startup, for supplying electric three-wheelers for its last-mile delivery fleet.
Under this association, 100 Etrio Touro electric three-wheelers are going to be operational with plans to scale up to 1,000 units in the next 6-8 months. To begin with, Zypp will deploy Etrio’s Touro Mini in Delhi NCR – Delhi, Noida, Gurugram, Ghaziabad and Faridabad, which will later be expanded to other geographies in India. Etrio will provide end-to-end service support through its dealer network along with a dedicated relationship manager for maximum uptime.
At present, Zypp Electric is among the leading largest last-mile delivery EV player with a fleet of over 1,000 e-scooters and is now entering into three-wheeler space to further expand its share in the last-mile delivery market. It has partnered with e-commerce, e-grocery, hyperlocal delivery merchants and deliver over 300,000 shipments daily. Adding three-wheelers extends their footprint and options for their customers to cover medium- to large-size shipments too. Some of their customers for which Touro would be deployed include Swiggy, Zomato, Big Basket and Apollo Pharmacy among others.
