Welan Technologies leverages SIAT Expo for its latest product portfolio
Pune-based company showcases testing solutions for e-mobility and also new sensing technologies.
Pune-based Welan Technologies is participating once again at SIAT at Stall No. 73, where it is displaying its latest product portfolio as well as new designs and prototypes for some upcoming products.
Welan Technologies’ expertise revolves around NVH (Noise Vibration and Harshness) and works in four major domains: Sensors and transducers; high-end NVH instrumentation; acoustic products and noise control; and testing, consultancy and training.
Speaking to Autocar Professional at SIAT Expo, Nitin Welanker, director, Welan Technologies, said: “We want to showcase the latest solutions for e-mobility and other sensing technologies. We want more synergies with Indian OEMs as they are bullish on megatrends and we think electric mobility is more of a focus area than BS VI.”
Interestingly, when it comes to providing high-level testing solutions, the company says it was the supplier for an Indian OEM whose product recently received one of the highest crash safety ratings from Global NCAP.
Speaking on future growth, Welanker said that introduction of GST has helped the company to provide global testing solutions from its partners to its clientele in India at a lesser cost. The company's business includes supplying sensors for measuring NVH, instrumentation, data loggers, pressure mapping systems and its own testing systems. The company is the Indian supplier of testing solution from Muller-BBM, Svantek, Futek and Tekscan.
