Volkswagen Finance announces Patrik Riese as the new MD and CEO
The new CEO has worked in several markets including Europe, North and South America, and Africa where he held leadership positions in sales and marketing. Riese graduated from the Business School at the University of Gothenburg and holds a degree in International Business and Marketing.
Volkswagen Finance, the financial arm of the Volkswagen Group in India has announced the appointment of Patrik Riese as the company’s new managing director and CEO.
With a career spanning over 26 years in the automotive industry, Riese, has previously held the position of managing director at Volkswagen Financial Services South Africa, and Volkswagen Financial Services Sweden.
The new CEO has worked in several markets including Europe, North and South America, and Africa where he held leadership positions in sales and marketing. Riese graduated from the Business School at the University of Gothenburg and holds a degree in International Business and Marketing.
Patrik Riese succeeded Andreas Kutzner on July, 1, 2017 who held the position since June, 2015.
Volkswagen Finance caters to all the group brands in India operating under the name of Volkswagen Financial Services, Skoda Financial Services, Audi Financial Services, MAN Financial Services along with providing financial services to Porsche, Lamborghini and Scania in the country.
