Pune, October 25, 2012: Global automotive supplier Visteon Corporation has opened its first innovation and design centre in India. Centrally located in Pune, which is a key hub for major global automotive companies, the facility will focus on creating ideas, developing concepts and commercialising innovative, market-driven products across Visteon’s portfolio.
Housed within the Visteon Engineering Centre, the innovation and design centre will be staffed by program managers, engineers, industrial designers, Human-Machine Inter-action (HMI) experts and market researchers.
“Visteon’s Innovation and Design Center provides a creative atmosphere for cross-functional teams to work with customers to develop high-value products and services for our rapidly growing business in India,” said Subu Nagasubramony, Visteon’s managing director, India operations. “This is another example of Visteon’s understanding of, and commitment to, the dynamic India market.”
