TVS Motor's Q1 PAT grows 25 percent
TVS Motor Company has announced a revenue growth of 13.7 percent for the quarter ended June 2015 with total revenue growing from Rs 2,305.39 crore in Q1 2014-15 to Rs 2,621.23 crore in the quarter ended June 2015.

Total two-wheeler sales grew by 8.8 percent, increasing from 559,000 units in the corresponding quarter of the previous year to 608,000 units in the quarter ended June 2015.
Motorcycle sales grew by 11.8 percent, increasing from 228,000 units in the quarter ended June 2014 to 255,000 units in the quarter ended June 2015. Scooter sales grew by 8.6 percent in the quarter ended June 2015 increasing from 152,000 units in the quarter ended June 2014 to 165,000 units in the quarter under review.
Two- and three wheeler exports saw a growth of 22.7 percent with sales increasing from 97,000 units in the quarter ended June 2014 to 119,000 units in the quarter ended June 2015.
Three wheeler sales grew by 21.0 percent, increasing from 24,982 units in the quarter ended June 2014 to 30,229 units in the quarter ended June 2015.
Profit before tax during the quarter under review grew by 17.5 percent from Rs 100.51 crore recorded in the quarter ended June 2014 to Rs 118.05 crore in the quarter ended June 2015.
Profit after tax (PAT) for the quarter ended June 2015 grew by 24.8 percent. PAT increased from Rs 72.32 crore reported in quarter ended June 2014 to Rs 90.27 crore in the quarter ended June 2015.
