TVS Motor Co signs MoU with CESL to expand its EV charging infra in India
The two companies had inked the deal on World Environment day making TVS Motor Company the first two-wheeler manufacturer to partner with CESL.
TVS Motor Company has entered into a strategic partnership with Convergence Energy Services (CESL) to jointly develop public charging ecosystem for its electric vehicle, TVS iQube Electric, across India.

On World Environment Day, TVS Motor takes pride in being the first two-wheeler manufacturer to have a MoU with CESL. We will continue to contribute to India’s electric adoption, staying true to our brand purpose, TVS iQube Charge. LIFE. This year TVS iQube Electric will be available in over 20 cities in India. In addition to its home charging options, it will be the TVS dealership charging network, and the emerging public charging ecosystem, with strong players like CESL that will accelerate India’s EV journey.”
The company says this initiative is in line with its commitment of expanding the presence of TVS iQube Electric in over 20 cities by the end-FY2022. As part of the partnership, CESL will help strengthen the charging infrastructure in these cities for the customers of the electric scooter.
