MAN Trucks India gets a new MD

MAN Trucks India (MTI) has got itself a new managing director with effect from August 1.

MAN Trucks India (MTI) has got itself a new managing director with effect from August 1. Jagadish Bhat, till recently MD of Hyva India, has taken over as head of this VW-owned German truckmaker’s Indian subsidiary from Stefan Holzmann, MAN’s veteran former head of testing who was MD (technical) of the erstwhile joint venture with Force Motors and then interim MD of MTI.

Bhat brings with him considerable application experience, having been head of manufacturing and engineering at Schwing Stetter India earlier in his career. Both Hyva and Schwing are bodyworking partners of MAN on a global basis.
