Triumph Motorcycles expands into Tier 2 towns, opens dealership in Mangalore
The British premium motorcycle manufacturer has opened its 16th retail outlet in the country.
Triumph Motorcycle India today inaugurated a brand new showroom facility in Mangalore, in southern India, the first for the company to venture into a Tier 2 town whilst having an all premium product portfolio.
The dealership spread across over 2,450 square feet, with a newly built ‘Experience Zone’, which boasts separately demarcated areas for consultation, along with a cafeteria and a lounge for customer engagement. It also houses a different area to help customers choose from an array of accessory and merchandise options to customise their motorcycles as per their liking.
The company says that the new showroom staff has been trained at its factory in Manesar, with an aim to deliver global level pre- and post-sales experience. The showroom is the company’s 16th retail outlet in the country with the other ones being present in New Delhi, Jaipur, Gurgaon, Bhubaneshwar, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Indore, Vijayawada, Chandigarh, Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad, Chennai, Kochi and Kolkata.
According to Vimal Sumbly, managing director, Triumph Motorcycles India, “The opening of the Mangalore dealership will further strengthen the Triumph marquee in the southern part of India. The comprehensive suite of after-sales services will ensure the best-in-class amenities for our esteemed customer base, accessible easily. We are suitably excited that the opening of this ultra-modern dealership coincides with us on the verge of entering our fifth year. The tier 2 markets are a strong focus for us and you will see many more exciting developments from us in these unexplored markets soon.”
