Triumph launches Thruxton R in India at Rs 10.9 lakh
Priced at Rs 10,90,000 (ex-showroom Delhi), the café racer is the third Bonneville family motorcycle in the country apart from the Street Twin and T120. It is also the most expensive Bonneville in India.
Triumph Motorcycles India has expanded its Bonneville family with the launch of the all-new 1200cc Thruxton R.
Priced at Rs 10,90,000 (ex-showroom Delhi), the café racer comes equipped with ABS as standard along with an electronic ride-by-wire system with three mode options -- road, rain and sport.
Powered by a 1200cc engine, the bike delivers a peak torque of 112 Nm at 4,950 rpm. Its power output is 97 Ps at 6,750 rpm. The Thruxton R is equipped with Brembo monobloc calipers, Showa big piston forks, Ohlins rear suspension and Pirelli Diablo Rosso Corsa tyres.

Speaking at the launch event in Mumbai today, Vimal Sumbly, managing director, Triumph Motorcycles India said, “The Thruxton R is uncompromisingly elegant and imposing lines are perfectly matched by the quality of the design, detailing, power and performance, and the incorporation of contemporary technology into a ride that's as poised as it is exhilarating.
