Trak N Tell introduces Intelli 7+ with real-time live vehicle GPS tracking

IoT start-up Trak N Tell of Gurugram has launched its new Intelli 7+ GPS device at Rs 8,999, with lifetime subscription.

The Intelli 7+ is the company’s second model in its range of completely indigenous GPS devices and offers added functionality of complete live tracking of a vehicle with its upgraded software.

The device, apart from offering regular features which include remote engine immobilisation and over speeding alerts, also has a ‘Watchman Alarm’ function which allows the user to set a ‘No-Use’ time slot for the vehicle through the mobile application, leading the system to cut off vehicle start-up during the specified duration.

The feature essentially complements all the old-school tools of vehicle theft prevention, like gear and steering locks, and stands as a permanent ‘watchman’ for the vehicle, especially when it is parked at night on a daily basis.

Another new feature over the Intelli 7 is live tracking, which allows owners to keep a full watch on the real-time location of their vehicle, with an option to send a panic command and shut down the engine, in the event of vehicle theft. At the back end, Track N Tell immediately contacts the registered user to cross-check the alert and assists the owner in tracing the stolen car in association with the local police authorities.

Commenting on the new product, Ritu Gupta, co-founder and COO, Trak N Tell, said: “At Trak N Tell, our mission is to bring a human touch to technology with tech-based products that care for a car as much as its owner. With the risk of car thefts increasing, the demand for such products are expected to increase as well. A recent bust of car thief gangs brought to light some serious facts; up to 105 vehicles are stolen in the capital city of Delhi every day. What’s more, car thieves are now tech-savvy, which means even the most secured vehicle has a possibility of getting stolen.”

“However, our vehicle security systems, specifically the Intelli7 and the latest Intelli7+ are modified to match driving habits, road rituals and customised needs of Indian families, and can be attached to either personal cars or fleet vehicles for business owners. In addition, our products eliminate the possibility of car theft. Coupled with the Watchman alarm feature, the owner would be quickly informed of any possible security threat to their vehicle, and take the necessary measures. We are confident our newest offering will help ensure enhanced safety, reduce car theft and offer improved overall security of both vehicle and passenger(s).”
