Mahindra Tractors Launches mLIFT Precision Hydraulics System for Rajasthan Market

Mahindra Tractors has introduced its mLIFT Precision Hydraulic System in three tractor models designed for farming operations in Rajasthan. The technology will be available in the Mahindra 275 DI XP Plus, 475 DI MS XP Plus, and 575 DI XP Plus tractors, all manufactured at the company's Jaipur facility.

The mLIFT system incorporates load-sensing systems, variable displacement pumps, and electronic controls for operational precision. The technology includes Pressure Compensation and Directional Control features for power output and depth penetration management. According to the company, the system provides uniform depth control and improved turnaround speeds for land preparation and seed bed preparation tasks.

The timing of the launch coincides with farmers in Rajasthan preparing for the upcoming Kharif season. The three tractor models range from 27.5 to 57.5 horsepower and are designed for extended working hours in local farming conditions.

The Mahindra 275 DI XP Plus features a 3-cylinder engine with 152 Nm maximum torque and 1500 kg hydraulic lift capacity. Its fuel consumption rate is 191 gm/hp-hr, and it includes a 32.1 LPM hydraulic pump flow rate. The model comes with wet air cleaner technology and water-cooled radiator systems for operation in dusty and high-temperature conditions.

The 475 DI MS XP Plus model uses a 4-cylinder engine delivering 194 Nm maximum torque with 21% backup torque. It features dual-acting power steering, eight forward and two reverse gears, and 13.6 x 28 rear tires. The model includes similar air cleaning and cooling systems as the 275 model.

The 575 DI XP Plus offers 207 Nm maximum torque with 15% backup torque and maintains a fuel consumption rate of 185 gm/hp-hr. It provides 1500 kg lift capacity and includes the same air cleaning and cooling technologies as the other models.

All three models come with a six-year standard warranty that covers the mLIFT Precision Hydraulic System. The tractors are available through Mahindra dealer networks across Rajasthan.

The Jaipur manufacturing facility, established in 2002, employs over 700 people and has an annual production capacity of 54,000 tractors. The plant produces 40 variants across seven tractor models ranging from 15 to 50 horsepower. Since its establishment, the facility has produced over 350,000 tractors and transmissions.

Mahindra Tractors began operations in 1963 through a joint venture with International Harvester Inc. The company has sold over 4 million tractors globally and operates in more than 50 countries. The company maintains manufacturing and assembly operations through subsidiaries and joint ventures in North America, Brazil, Finland, Turkey, and Japan, in addition to its Indian facilities in Mumbai, Nagpur, Zaheerabad, and Rudrapur.
