In a bid to make the most of the festive season, Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has launched a new Liva. The updated hatchback includes new features like rear roof spoiler, black grille and Outside Rear View Mirror (ORVM) to complement its looks. The car comes with enhanced safety, equipped with standard dual front SRS (Supplemental Restraint System) airbags and standard pre-tensioner and force limiter front seatbelts. Further, it comes with a warranty of 3 years / 100,000km, whichever comes first. The Liva is priced at Rs 5.76 lakh (petrol variant) and Rs 6.79 lakh (diesel variant), ex-showroom Delhi.

Speaking on the launch, Akitoshi Takemura, senior VP, TKM, said, "It is our endeavour to continuously upgrade our offering in line with the changing lifestyle preferences of our customers.”

Apart from the launch of the Liva, several automakers have decided to bank on the festive season by introducing special editions of popular models. Tata Motors introduced a range of vehicles like the Genx Nano, Bolt and Zest as ‘Celebration Editions’, while two-wheeler OEMs like TVS and Hero have rolled out StarCity+ and new Splendor Pro, respectively.
