Third edition of iTEC India to be held between December 17-19 in Bangalore

The International Transportation Electrification Conference India will host iTEC India 2019 between December 17-19, in Bangalore. The event is aimed at helping the automotive industry in their transition from conventional vehicles to advanced electrified vehicles.
iTEC India is focused on components, systems, standards, and grid interface technologies, related to efficient power conversion for all types of electrified transportation, including EVs, hybrid electric vehicles, and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (EVs, HEVs, and PHEVs) as well as heavy duty, rail and off-road.
The conference is organised by SAE India and IEEE IAS. Autocar Professional is an official media partner for the bi-annual event.
The three-day conference will see lively discussions on but not limited to the future of power electronics, electric drivetrain and controls; battery, BMS and fuel-cells for EVs; EV architectures for pure electric, hybrid electric and electric range extenders; EV charging infrastructure, smart charging solutions & apps, smart grid, V2G and renewable integration.
In addition, the conference will also see discussions on the importance of standardisation, policies and regulations for transportation electrification; the challenge of emissions issues. Electrification of heavy-duty and off-road vehicles, smart materials for EVs, structural design and thermal management among others will also be discussed at the event.
