Tata unit, German firm set up Pune tech centre

Tata Motors' subsidiary TAL Manufacturing Solutions and Heller of Germany have launched a technology centre in Pune.

Tata Motors' subsidiary TAL Manufacturing Solutions and Heller of Germany have launched a technology centre in Pune. This centre will support the domestic market with high-quality machines and processes. TAL chairman Ravi Kant along with Heller Group chairman Klaus Winkler inaugurated the centre recently.

According to Winkler, “We are pleased to set up our first technology centre in Asia. Heller has strong roots since over 115 years and has been exporting machines to India since the last 50 years. The technology centre is the next step in strengthening this relationship.”

The facility will showcase the two high productive Heller Machining centres, MCH-280 and H-4000.
