Tata Motors Group sells 88,159 vehicles in July globally, up 20% YoY

The Group sold a total of 57,796 passenger vehicles in the reported month, up 34% YoY, while the cumulative PV wholesales for the fiscal stood at 224,301 units, higher by 18% over April-July 2015.

Tata Motors Group sells 88,159 vehicles in July globally, up 20% YoY

The Tata Motors Group, which includes Jaguar Land Rover, sold a total of 88,159 vehicles in July 2016, 20% more year-on-year (YoY). Cumulative wholesales for the fiscal stood at 349,413 units, up 14% over 2015-16.

Global wholesales of all Tata Motors’ commercial vehicles and the Tata Daewoo range in July 2016 remained flat at 30,363 units. Cumulative commercial vehicles wholesales for April-July 2016 were higher by 7% over the same period last year at 125,112 units.

Further, the Group sold a total of 57,796 passenger vehicles in the reported month, up 34% YoY, while the cumulative PV wholesales for the fiscal stood at 224,301 units, higher by 18% over April-July 2015.

Global wholesales for Jaguar Land Rover were 43,932 vehicles last month – 14,369 Jaguars and 29,563 Land Rovers. Cumulative sales for April-July 2016 were 178,258 vehicles – 48,941 Jags and 129,317 Rovers.
