Tata Motors and Nissan India today announced that they would be increasing prices of their entire passenger vehicles range from April 2018.

Tata Motors is going to hike its prices by up to Rs 60,000 (depending on the model) and Nissan India is going to increase its prices by up to 2% across all its models, including the Datsun range.

Officials at both the automotive companies have cited rising input costs as the reason for the hike in prices. Both the companies are relying on the price hike to tackle the changing market conditions and various other external economic factors.
