Tata Motors has launched its Ultra range of intermediate CVs and LCVs in Sri Lanka. The first three to be launched include the Ultra 612, Ultra 812 and Ultra 912.

Tata Motors launches Ultra ICV, LCV range in Sri Lanka

Tata Motors has launched its Ultra range of intermediate CVs and LCVs in Sri Lanka. The first three to be launched include the Ultra 612, Ultra 812 and Ultra 912.

Launching the all-new range, Ravi Pisharody, executive director, Commercial Vehicles Business Unit, said, “After the world-class range of Prima trucks, we now introduce another global standard of trucks in ILCV segment -- the Tata Ultra trucks. With stylish, futuristic and smart utility features, the Ultra has been designed to fast track the consumer’s business growth and deliver a reliable, safe, comfortable vehicle with superior performance.

According to the company, the Ultra range was developed following customer feedback and an immersive study into the lives of drivers, to understand their expectations.

The Ultra range, which was launched in India last May, will come in three variants with payload capacity between 2.5 to 6 tonnes. With its contemporary design, it has an-new aluminium housing gearbox and clutch and driver-centric features like disc brakes, radial tyres, spacious world-class cabin, suspended seats, AC option, the company said in a statement.

On the aftersales front, the range will come with the 3 year/ 300,000km vehicle warranty and 24x7 roadside assistance.
