Tata Motors launches Prima truck range in Bhutan
The three Primas launched include the LX 2523.T in the cargo segment and the LX 2523.K and PRIMA LX 2528.K in the Tipper construck segment.
Tata Motors has launched its Prima range of heavy commercial vehicles in Bhutan in association with local partners Samden Vehicles and STCBL.
As is known, the next-generation heavy duty CV range is a combination of power, driver comfort, performance, fuel efficiency, superior technology and safety. According to the company, the Prima’s launch in Bhutan follows increased customer demand for new-age commercial vehicles with improved turnaround time and increased driver comfort. The Prima will initially be introduced in the tipper and cargo segment, with different combinations of drivelines, for varied applications.
Commenting on the launch, Ravindra Pisharody, executive director, Commercial Vehicles Business Unit, Tata Motors, said: “The launch of the Prima World-Smart range of heavy commercial vehicles in Bhutan is an important milestone in Tata Motors’ continued expansion in the country and the South Asian region. As a major player in the region, we are committed to shaping the commercial vehicle industry here.”
