Tata Motors Group wholesales 95,503 units globally in June 2019, down 5% YoY
Tata Motors Group wholesales figures for June 2019 indicates a slowdown that it has been experiencing for the past several months with Jaguar Land Rover sales doing comparatively better
Tata Motors Group global wholesales in June 2019, including Jaguar Land Rover, were at 95,503 units, lower by 5 percent, as compared to June 2018. Global wholesales of all Tata Motors’ commercial vehicles and Tata Daewoo range in June 2019 were at 38,846 units, lower by 12 percent over June 2018.
Tata Motors has reported that the global wholesales of all passenger vehicles in June 2019 were at 56,657 units, increase by 9 percent, compared to June 2018.
For its luxury vehicle business, the global wholesales for Jaguar Land Rover was 43,204 vehicles (JLR number for June 2019 includes CJLR volumes of 6,809 units), which includes Jaguar at 12,839 vehicles, while Land Rover wholesales for the month were 30,365 vehicles. Here, CJLR is a JV between JLR and Chery Automobiles and is an unconsolidated subsidiary for JLR.
