Tata Motors Group wholesales 145,459 units globally in March 2019, down 5%
Tata Motors Group wholesales figures for March 2019 indicates a slowdown in the drop that it has been experiencing for the past several months with Jaguar Land Rover sales doing comparatively better.
Tata Motors Group global wholesales in March 2019, including Jaguar Land Rover, were at 145,459 units, lower by 5 percent, as compared to March 2018. Global wholesales of all Tata Motors’ commercial vehicles and Tata Daewoo range in March 2019 were at 57,163 units, higher by 1 percent over March 2018.
Tata Motors has reported that the global wholesales of all passenger vehicles in March 2019 were at 88,314 units, lower by 9 percent, compared to March 2018.
For its luxury vehicle business, the global wholesales for Jaguar Land Rover was 70,171 vehicles (JLR number for March 2019 includes CJLR volumes of 4,812 units), which includes Jaguar at 20,985 vehicles, while Land Rover wholesales for the month were 49,186 vehicles. Here, CJLR is a JV between JLR and Chery Automobiles and is an unconsolidated subsidiary for JLR.
