Tata Motors Group’s global sales up 21% in June
The Group sold a total of 59,831 passenger vehicles in June 2016, up 31% YoY, while the cumulative PV wholesales for the current fiscal stood at 166,619 units, higher by 6% over April-June 2015.
The Tata Motors Group, which includes Jaguar Land Rover, sold a total of 92,551 vehicles in June 2016, 21% more year-on-year (YoY). Cumulative wholesales included 261,262 units, up 12% YoY.
Global wholesales of all Tata Motors’ commercial vehicles and the Tata Daewoo range in June 2016 were 32,720 units, up 5% YoY. Cumulative commercial vehicles wholesales for April-June 2016 were higher by 9% over the same period last year at 94,643 units.
Further, the Group sold a total of 59,831 passenger vehicles in June 2016, up 31% YoY, while the cumulative PV wholesales for the current fiscal stood at 166,619 units, higher by 6% over April-June 2015.
Global wholesales for Jaguar Land Rover were 47,197 vehicles last month – 12,942 Jaguars and 34,255 Land Rovers. Cumulative sales for April-June 2016 were 134,334 vehicles – 34,572 Jags and 99,762 Rovers.
