Tata Motors and Castrol ink strategic global partnership for CV oils
The two companies, which have partnered for over 30 years in India, have now extended their partnership to the global market.
Tata Motors and Castrol have announced the signing of a three-year strategic partnership agreement for supply of commercial vehicle oils to Tata Motors globally.
The new pact extends the partnership between the two companies to the global arena. Tata Motors and Castrol share a relationship which goes back three decades, starting in India where Tata is the largest commercial vehicle manufacturer and has 43 percent of the market share.
The agreement will cover over 50 markets including the SAARC and ASEAN regions, Middle East, Africa, Russia and Latin America. As Tata Motors expand its international footprint, Castrol with its established presence in global markets will support Tata Motors’ channel partners with high quality products and services. Castrol will work closely with the Tata Motors team to co-engineer products suited to meet specific requirements of new engine technology and environment regulations.
Commenting on the agreement, Guenter Butschek, CEO and managing director, Tata Motors, said: “Tata Motors has had a long and enduring partnership with Castrol in India, delivering exceptional products and outstanding service for our customers.
